I started saving with Walgreens for two reasons. First there is one every five miles in our town and secondly it’s so convenient it’s silly not too. Walgreens can be confusing though so I will try to keep this as simple as possible!
Walgreens Easysaver catalog, located in the front of the store. Every month Walgreens has free after rebate deals in the Easysaver. They are usually high priced items so at first you are paying out of pocket but once you get the hang of it the money really adds up. There are also many products that can bring you tons of savings so scan the Easysaver each month to see if there is something you really need. The easiest way to complete your rebate is to register with Walgreens and use their gift card option for your rebates. If you use the gift card you receive 10% extra on your purchases so you are making a little money while you are also saving and getting free products. They will send you a gift card in the mail and it is yours to add too so you never have to wait around again for your money to return in the mail. You enter your rebate information here. You will need your receipt and the products that you purchased then click save for later if you plan to purchase more rebates through out the month. If you click, claim rebates, the rest of your savings throughout the month are lost since you can no longer add receipts for your purchases. Make sure that you go back to Walgreens and click that you want to redeem your savings before the end of the month or you will loose it. *I will post the free after rebate items for you monthly.*
The second way to save is with the Weekly Advertisement. They change every week so you can click here to view your adveritsement, pick it up in the front of the store, subscribe to your local paper, or check your email once you have registered with Walgreens and they will send the ads for the week. The weekly advertisement has great deals each week with coupons. Check the limits on the coupons because you can always purchase more than one of the item at the unbelievable price. These coupons also can be used with manufacturer coupons that you find online or in your paper each week. *I will post the coupons weekly so you know before you go what you want to clip if you already haven’t received the catalog.*
The third way is Register Rewards. Register Rewards are coupons that print at the end of your transaction. You have to be careful with these because if you purchase to many of the sale item you may not get the Register Reward. When you are browsing the store they tell you exactly what you need to purchase under the product you are interested in. These rewards are coupons good on your next transaction.
The fourth way is that Walgreens usually posts a coupon monthly for 2 specific days that you can purchase $20.00 in products and receive $5.00 off of that purchase. *I will post these for you.*
So that’s Walgreens in a nutshell. Almost everyone I know goes there so why not save.
