Kim is the owner of My City Mommy and originally started her savings journey when she became a stay-at-home mom. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is dedicated to helping others. STL Mommy, and then My City Mommy, were a way to provide her with the best of both worlds. Kim writes daily on STL Mommy and has 3 children - 6, 3 and 2 months. She shares her experiences and journey while becoming in charge of her own personal finances and uses common ‘cents’ along the way.
My name is Laura Thornquist and I help run the MyDFWmommy.com website. I have two children, 12 and 4 and I’ve been married to my husband for 17 years. I was hugely impacted by the economy in late 2008 with job losses and transfers. That’s when I discovered a new frugal way of living. After learning valuable coupon strategies I have become hooked on “frugality”! It has changed my life and I am forever grateful.
I was in the television news industry for over 20 years and decided to get out to have more normal hours and a near normal routine for my family. I’ve worked in markets as an anchor in Billings, MT, Denver, CO and Kansas City, MO. This is how I found Kim Julian who is the “brainchild” behind the mymommy websites. She started her own blog in St. Louis and the brand is taking off like wildfire! To reach me, email me at mydallasmommy@gmail.com!

My name is Maggie Howes and I live in Prairieville, Louisiana which is just minutes from Baton Rouge. I have been a stay-at-home-mom for the past 10 1/2 years. I have an incredible husband, Bryan, and three beautiful daughters, Baylee, Skylar and Isabella that keep me on my toes. Being in charge of my family’s finances, I am always looking for ways to save money wherever possible. I always assumed groceries and household costs were something that I had little control over, until I was introduced to a different way of couponing!
My name is Ann Heinzel and I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before becoming a mother to three beautiful children with one on the way, I was a teacher for the Milwaukee Public School District. That is when I started to learn that every penny counts and stretching the dollar was key. After having my first child, I decided to become a stay at home mother. This was a challenge because we really had to make everything work for our family. It was a big adjustment and I needed to start looking at ways to have fun with my children on a tight budget. One of my favorite things to do in the world is shop and oh, the rush I feel when I save a dime! I am so happy to be able to have the opportunity to “pay it forward” and share all the deals that I find with my readers.
My name is Betsy and I am with My Milwaukee Mommy! Ann and I have been friends for over 10 years and love to talk about all the fun deals and family activities we find, especially now that her family is growing and I am involved with many families at work. I coordinate a before and after school program in the area and love to share low cost or even better FREE activities for families! We are always looking for great deals and fun activities to share with you!
I’m Kristi your Phoenix Mommy and I live in San Tan Valley, Arizona with my wonderful husband and three beautiful kids. I am a stay at home mom I am always looking for ways to save and stretch our budget further. My love of helping family and friends find practical ways to save money and have fun doing it was great motivation to join the MyCityMommy Network and dive into the fantastic world of couponing and blogging!
My name is Jennifer Nevadomski, My Metro NY Mommy. Some of you around the Blogosphere may know me as NevalandMom. I am wife and mom of four. Paul and I are enjoying every moment with our chaotic but amazing family. Juliana is my beautiful daughter. She is eight years old, a spitfire, and is into softball, the children’s choir, Girl Scouts, and so much more. Although she keeps us on our toes, I see a lot of myself in her. Paul and I have three sons together: Louis and Anthony, our “twin-adoes”, are two years old. Every day is a journey through new words, new adventures and lots of laughs. They are followed by their “little” brother (who will soon pass as a triplet, he’s such a bruiser!) Joseph, who is the most pleasant little boy you can imagine. Joseph is 12 months old. My philosophy is that children have the rest of their lives to work, dealing with the reality that life is not always easy for everyone, dealing with finances and budgeting and saving. They should not have to worry about it in their childhood. Paul and I want to give our children the best. We enjoy vacationing, going out to dinner, splurging on family outings and shopping trips. We have a lot of children to feed and clothe, and even working part-time from home,
being a family of six in NYC, there is the need to become more creative. Deals, steals, coupons, sales, specials, freebies, giveaways and reviews have helped us to give our children more of the life we want them to have. It has also helped us to spend valuable time with each other, enjoy our family, and enjoy our life together.
My name is Jackie Landy I lived in Henderson, NV (surburbia Vegas) and now live in Oregon. I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom for the past 5 years and I am currently trying to keep it that way. I met my husband, Tony and his daughter (Mallory), in 1999 and fell in love with them instantly. When we decided it was time to have a baby of our own, we didn’t realize we would get 2 of them at once! Yikes…twins!!! That will shake anyone’s world and turn it upside down. We decided it was time to have all the kids now because I would eventually need to go back to work. So that led us to: Mallory (13), Jack (5), Jude (5) and AJ (3).
With being a household of 6 and having one income, I am always looking for ways to save money and still provide things to my kids that not only they need but be able to fulfill some of their wants too! That is when I found “extreme couponing”. This isn’t your everyday couponing (save $1.00 here or there), this was a HUGE change and a way of life. I realized quickly that this could actually be the answer to my prayers. I also wanted to give back, so I joined this wonderful team in the summer 2009. “Extreme Couponing” gives me a sense of accomplishment like no other. It is very addicting and I love it!
My name is Melissa Zokoe and I am the blogger behind West Michigan Mommy. Before running this wonderful blog, I worked as a Property Manager of an Apartment Complex and I was also a Corporate Trainer. I had used coupons on and off for a few years but nothing serious. After the birth of our Son in May 2009, we wanted to stop renting and save money to purchase a house for our family. That was when I really discovered “couponing” and “stacking” and started getting items we needed and wanted for little out of pocket, some even FREE! I was constantly sharing my finds and deals with friends and family who suggested that I create a blog to organize all of these great deals. In November, West Michigan Mommy was launched. I love being able to share my finds with readers and hope that I can help others save money and live frugally, and have fun doing so!
My name is Sheryl Pieroni. I live in the suburbs outide of Atlanta, Ga. I am mom to four amazing boys. Ryan (19) is in college, Nick (16) is a sophomore in high school, Matt (12) is in middle school, and my “baby” Greg (10) is in his last year of elementary school. I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of an amazing group of women and to be able to work from home. If I had to describe what I do in just a few words, they would be “I will save you time, money, and energy”. This goes for the My Atlanta Mommy blog as well as my other work as a Personal Assistant. I completely enjoy blogging and love being able to share the most up to date sale ads, coupon match-ups, freebies and specials with you everyday. I especially love sharing about deals and contests by non-profits, helpful and kind “pay it forwards”, and ways to stay green while managing to keep some green in your pocket.
My name is Margie Brill and I have been an avid coupon user for over 15 years now. In June of 2009, Kim, STL Mommy invited me to join the My City Mommy family. I am thrilled to share the deals that I find on My Springfield Mommy, be it a matchup, free sample, rebate or just an amazing sale that no one should pass up. Along the way you will learn more about my family including my husband Mike, who loves to help me find deals. Our daughter Maris who I joke is a couponer in training. From time to time you may even hear about our dogs and cats.
Hi, my name is Christi Parker and I live in Evansville, Indiana where I run My Evansville Mommy. My passion for saving money through smart shopping began as a new bride, when my hubby and I started saving for our first home. When our son Peter (3 years old) was born a year later I became a stay-at-home mom and now have a daughter Liberty (14 months old). Despite its challenges, I have enjoyed creatively stretching our budget through couponing, sales, freebies, and meal planning. I love sharing budgeting tips and passing along great deals. It is my hope that My Evansville Mommy will help others find joy in frugal shopping and living!
My name is Jodi and I live in Salt Lake City. I am a Stay at home Mom and have 2 beautiful children who are growing fast. I started this blog from my love of saving money and sharing deals with my Friends and Family. I am very excited about being part of the MyCityMommy team. My hope is to save yours and my family money. I hope we all have a good time in the process!

My name is Aimee Guess and I am from Bakersfield, California, I author the Save at Home Mommy aka My Bakersfield Mommy site. I am a stay-at-home-mom to my beautiful toddler Kallie, while my husband works to provide for us. I was born and raised in a Christian home, so staying honest, working hard, and having a relationship with Jesus Christ is very important to me. I graduated from California Baptist University in 2006 with a degree in teaching, but my husband and I decided that when we had children I would stay home to raise them. I am passionate about saving money and still having everything we need to live on. I love to coupon, it’s my hobby and my job. Besides working the saveathomemommy site I also make specialty cakes for events and I run a playgroup at our church. We stay very busy around here, but it’s such a blessing to do all of it. Remember that each and every day is a gift from God, do what you can to make the most of it!
My name is Dawn Clifton. I’m originally from Memphis, TN and I currently live in Castle Rock, CO, in between Denver and Colorado Springs. I’m the author of My Rocky Mtn Mommy. For the past 8 yrs I’ve been a Creative Memories Consultant with a passion for helping people with their photographs. I was also a web developer for over 10 years and in customer service for 10 years before that. In 1999, I was thrust into single motherhood with my beautiful now 15 yr old daughter and had no choice but to be frugal and save money wherever I could. I got remarried in 2005 to a wonderful man named Brian who wanted me to move to Colorado and be a stay-at-home mom. I loved finding deals and coupons and freebies so I continued to do so as my way of contributing to our new family. I now have an 18 mo old baby boy and have even more reason to find deals! I have always had a passion for helping people, so when I was given the opportunity to run a site for My City Mommy, I was thrilled! I love paying it forward and hope you find my site helpful and informative.
Hi! My name is Julie and I am the blogger here at My Kansas City Mommy. I live in KC with my hubby and our infant son, Lincoln. I have always been a “coupon gal,” but my true journey to a frugal lifestyle began over a year ago when I found out that we were expecting Lincoln. Since then, I have been searching for ways to save money on just about everything – groceries, diapers, clothing, retail, and more. My goal is to help you save too!
Both my hubby and I have lived in the KC area all our lives, so I am excited to have the opportunity to share some of the fun things our great city has to offer! If you know of an awesome family-friendly event happening in KC, please let me know about it. Additionally, if you are a business owner and would like to speak about promotional opportunities, I would love to hear from you. My KC Mommy is PR Friendly. Visit my contact page for more information.
My Name is Stephanie. Born and raised in California, I’ve spent most of my life living in Huntington Beach. Southern California is a unique area to grow up in, especially Orange County. Not everyone is as well off as the reality show will have you believing. We’ve all got to focus on saving money in a volatile economy, while building a wonderful life for us, and our families. We may live by the ocean, but the views don’t come cheap.
I attended college at San Diego State University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and English. My husband and I were married in 2003 and now have two beautiful daughters who fill our lives with laughter, independent spirit and wonderment. I’ve worked in almost every type of industry, from healthcare to HR, restaurant to law office, marketing to architecture. I’ve typed, sold and assisted the best of them. What I really enjoy is raising my daughters, spending time with my family and using my creativity to make someone smile, think or question their viewpoints. Visit me at My OC Mommy
My name is Nicole Black and I manage the MyChicagoMommy.com website. I’ve been told that I was born to shop… however NEVER at full price! I remember as young as 10 or 12 years old, looking through the Thanksgiving day newspaper ads with my mom, and planning a strategy for Black Friday. I think through MyChicagoMommy.com, I have found my passion of helping others save while shopping! After I graduated from the University of Iowa, my career took many paths such as web development, nursing home administration and healthcare sales. I currently consult part-time in the Chicago area for various healthcare companies. However, after recently getting married I left my full time career as a Regional Sales Director with a national healthcare company to take part in MyChicagoMommy.com! In the mid to late 90′s, I started my career in web development. At that time, large corporations were just learning how to use the web (and in a very basic way!). Never, at that time would I have dreamed that the internet would be used by a network of moms across the United States to help each other save while shopping!
College, working and traveling. At one time, those words described my life. Now it’s children, husband, cleaning and cooking! I have two children, and with careful budgeting, I am lucky to be a stay at home mom. I’ve experienced a lot of changes in life but one constant that close family and friends will agree with is that I have always had a need to seek out the best deals, a want to get the biggest bang for my buck, and a deep desire to know that I saved money. It is with that in mind that I have ventured into new territory once again. I will try and bring you the best deals possible. With a click of a button, let me, save you time. Cheers, Keri
